The Revolutionary iPhone
Since the 1970s, Apple has been at the forefront of technological innovation, globally transforming the way people interact with each other and the world. As founder Steve Jobs once said, “Some people think design means how it looks but of course, if you dig deeper, it’s really how it works.”
Aside from the now well-known successes of the iPhone and its popularity, did you know that it is also compatible with hearing aids?
Connectivity to Apple’s iPhone has opened up a world of accessibility for hearing aid wearers, vastly improving accessibility for a large number of individuals experiencing hearing loss. Using Bluetooth technology, iPhones connect directly to compatible hearing aids, delivering conversations, music, and other media directly to the listener’s ears.
In addition to these features, connection with iPhones also offer hearing aid wearers the technology to control volumes and programs on their hearing aid through a control on the iPhone. Hearing aid wearers also benefit from Apple’s simple, user-friendly interface and clean, modern design, reiterating the words of Steve Jobs: digging deeper, you’ll find that Apple’s iPhone truly works – especially for those who experience hearing loss!

Starkey Hearing Technologies: Halo 2 Made for iPhone
Starkey’s Halo 2 was awarded the Silver Edison Award in 2015. Building upon the successes of the original Halo, the Halo 2 offers many updated and new features to provide a great listening experience.
Through a connection with the TruLink app, the Halo 2 allows wearers to stream phone calls, FaceTime, music, and other media directly from their iPhones and other Apple devices to their hearing aids. About this Type:
Hearing aids that function in sync with your smartphone are among the most convenient technology available — but no hearing system operates as an extension of your devices the way the Made for iPhone® Hearing Aids do. Many hearing aids offer a wireless streaming function that pushes phone calls, music, video, and other audio to your devices, but the Made for iPhone® Hearing Aids —perfectly compatible with your Apple devices — allow for use with FaceTime® audio, Siri®, and other Apple-specific media.
If customizable audio options and personal adjustments are what you seek, look no further: Using the SoundSpace function, you can adjust the sound quality and loudness to fit any environment. And with TruLink Memories, your adjustments will be saved and associated with a specific location that you frequent. If you prefer a different sound at home than you do at the office, your hearing aids will remember the adjustments you made before and will change back automatically when you walk through the doors.
Use your iPhone® as a remote control to change the volume or attenuation of your devices. Use your iPhone® as a microphone to more clearly enjoy group conversations. Use your iPhone® to find your misplaced hearing aids. Use it your way — however and whenever you need to — and hear your best in every situation.
